bullshit
Wow.
Did you see the comments?
"That's exactly what I have said.
Every nation that has been attacked by Al Qaeda has then elected a pro-terorist government.
Spain. Italy.
And now the USA."

Al Qaeda likes Dems = Dems like Al Qaeda?
I will no longer trust anyone with "Al" in their name.
OK, I will trust Al on Happy Days. Hell, if the Fonz trusted him then who the hell am I to judge.

Maybe not, but Al Qaeda likes Dems is bad enough imo.k30dxedle wrote:

It will be interesting to see what happens. Obviously, the democrats can't appease Al Qaeda, but neither can they continue the war as it is currently going... Must be fun to be elected into a box you can't get out of that is slowly closing in on you.
I think they're just want a new party in office, I bet if it had been a democratic regime all this time, Al Qaeda would have been pushing Republican.Stingray24 wrote:

Republicans FTW!

Yep - thank you voter's! Call Bush an idiot all day - but I feel safer with him there than any dem.
Jesus, people are gullible. The purpose of Terrorism is to cause regime instability in the enemy country and cause a regime change in that country. Of course they're purporting this as a victory. If ANY party took over the government, Al Qaeda would have claimed it as a victory. SO LONG AS THE REPUBLICANS LOOSE OFFICE, IT IS A VICTORY. That is how terrorism works...Christ help us and people wonder why the people we put in charge can't figure shit out.
They don't support Democrats, they support anyone who may change the current regime in America. It could be the damn Nazi party for all they care.

Why would they care about having a different party if the policies were the same? That doesn't make sense to me.Elamdri wrote:

If the terrorists like the dems then they are only hurting them by saying this. Way to think terrorists.

Because of the possibly to influence the new party. The fact that a new party was voted in office is proof to them that there strategy is working. Thus they believe they have already caused one change to our regime, and they hope that they might have more space to operate within the new regime.Stingray24 wrote:

Fixed, happy?
Jesus, people are gullible.
New parties are routinely voted in and out of office. Terrorist will claim everything as victory.Elamdri wrote:

I can't believe people are buying this. It's so transparent as to be laughable.
It is a simple (barely) veilled threat by the terrorists. There is no real distinction made between the Democrats and the Republicans and there have been attacks by Al Qaeda on US soil under both administrations.
On top of that there is the fact that the terrorists are wrong and it is not they that have won the elections for the Democrats, but Bush who has lost it for the Republicans through his rash behaviour.

Looks like you have a problem America. Oh I know....why don't you just make it a Republican Dictatorship. That way the little terrorists won't get their way.
You voted for them. You don't like democracy? Like most people say to U.S citizens that bash the U.S "like it or leave"
In all seriousness, that's quite a big steaming pile of bullshit.

*shrugs* Let the people fall for it. It's more fun to watch people make fools of themselves than to actually try to enlighten them. If they want to take terrorist propaganda so seriously, it will only cripple their judgment to the point of rendering them irrelevant.Elamdri wrote:

The reality of the matter is that the Democrats now have a golden opportunity to get us out of this mess, Republicans be damned. At this point, the only Republican that matters right now is Bush. If he can be roused from his patriotic stupor, then we might actually exit Iraq in the next few years. Otherwise, we'll just continue to waste money and lives on this.
