1500+points in a few hours... Hmmmmhh!?

So I get in the gunner seat of a cobra in a gulf of oman server, and yell to the leader of the squad I had just joined... Go go go... He yells back.... ¨Jump out¨... Probably thinking I was a noob. So to reasure him that I know how to gunn, I tell him over voip -¨Go ahead, I´m a good gunner¨.
So he takes off, and flips and crash the cobra over the carrier deck. I´m thinking... It could happen.... hardware malfunction.... But a few seconds pass and he goes over the voip repeating to the other squad memebers what I said before...¨Go ahead, I´m a good gunner¨... in a mocking sort of way... Like the mature 32 year old that I am, I go to BF2s stats, to add him to my next victims list. I guess it was time I started bullying someone.
So I check his stats, and notice he got last night around 1500 points or so....
So my question is.... Is this normal?
Is there some cheating going on?.... Cause he sucked in that cobra.... Saw him crash like a hundred times in that round.

How do you know he gained that many points that fast? I don't play with stats too often but I'm not aware of any way to see points gained in a single day. It could be that the first time you opened his stats they hadn't been refreshed for weeks, and then once you refreshed them it showed you the updated ones. Otherwise yeah, his Score Per Minute isn't high enough to make me think that he put up 1500 points in a few hours. That'd be pretty tough to do even in a knife and pistol statpadding party because those rounds last so long.

if you check his history and look at the score it shows the points earned in a day. It does look very wierd that he jumps 1500 points in one night though...

I usualy play about 2-3 hours a night and I can get nearly 600 points in that time. Not that amazing now that I've actually sat down and thought about the math.

The guy just had a shitload of time one day. His stats show he's far too crappy to get that much in less than 10 hours. A good medic whore can get 2000 in 8 hours.

Agreed. I avg over 100 points per 30 minute round, so 200 points per hour= 1000 in 5 hours..On the ground, lol.

my record was around 3000 points in 10 hours, but I was whoring out tanks and choppers the whole time.

A spm of 3.0 = 180 pts per hour and a lot of players have much higher spm than that, so an average of 100 pts in 30 minutes (200 per hour) is not incredible or rare at all!!

he didn't earn those points in one night. If you are smart enough you could see that earlier he had scored even more points, according to you, in one night. those 1500 points were earned in 2weeks or more..

Yeah. I know there's a lot of guys that can make a lot of points in a couple of hours, more so dominating the skies with choppers and jets. But the guy was falling to the ground harder than a pelican on acid, like every 3 minutes.
My point is... odd stats, for such a crappy teamplayer and pilot.

Needles to say we lost the round, and he quit the server just before it ended.
