And I just have a sinking feeling that people would rise up against the Nazis if they did overrun Europe. Be it the Europeans themselves or if some Euros got aid from other countries, Nazi Germany would eventually lose its grip.

I have a few questions:

1. Do you have anything to back up your claim that Europe will be annexed by the US?
2. What economic benefits? Benefits for Europe? HA! The dollar is worth half as much as the pound sterling, and the euro isnt far off that mark too.  It has been in the news that it looks like the US is on the verge of a recession, why would we join a country on the verge of a recession?
3. What the hell do you mean "annexed"?  Because when you say "annexed" it sounds like you mean they will be taken by force.  That is what the word means... but is that what you mean?

As for your question, I dont think this will ever happen, and it never should.  It is a shame that the US thinks it runs the rest of the world, it is such a young country.  And with regards to our culture (I can only speak for British culture, being British), I think that the American walk of life has contaminated our own culture enough already and it would only be detrimental if it was allowed to do so even more.  So, no, it shouldn't happen and it won't happen.
