grr.. my connection has been totally fucked the whole day and I decided to go look at the box-with-antenna-stuff-thingie-box and what do I see? some fucker has sabotaged it! luckily it was easy to fix
had planned to play some earlyer today... but don't know if I will bother play tonight...

Mmph. Not me. BF2142 decided to magically erase all of my controls. I put them back, but now my cursor won't respond. So I can't spawn/choose a kit/anything.
umm, maybe. If I'm not playing Heroes 5 or Company of Heroes...

Hmmm... not sure I've seen you but then my vision is generally focused elsewhere. Anyway, yeah, I had that problem as well. Seems a bit choppy when the server is full. I got killed fairly repeatedly for a while before the connection issue cropped up, but that was entirely my fault; it turns out I'm thoroughly rubbish as Assualt in this game. So, Support for me, since I've fallen in love with the heartbeat monitor, which might I add I was saying they should add for like, a millennium or so... Rainbow Six has em, why not BF2?
Anyway (which I say far too often), I'm hopping on now. I'll even remember to get on Teamspeak this time. Gaspshockhorror.
Ah yeah, slightly off-topic yet on topic - does anyone know of a safe way to alt-tab to desktop from 2142? BF2 doesn't really like me doing it, but it doesn't crash; 2142 gives me a black screen with a cursor whenever I try. It's a recoverable hang, but it's annoying all the same, as it means I have to shut GAIM while I play.
In relation to the above, if I suddenly disconnect, my girl came online and emailed the hell out of me to get my attention (which is clearly not an ideal situation, heh).
