Anyone know how to get TS overlayed on top of BF2142, so I can see who's talking? Right now everyone sounds the same (except Varegg I think it was last night), but then I'm new to this communication malarky.

Well... You could run your game in window mode so you can see your TS next to the game window.

Any clues on how to get my mic louder? soome sort of mis boost? i turned it right up on the TS window but its still to hard for other ppl to hear me

Cant check right now but I think you can turn Mic boost from ingame options. When you go to audio settins I think.

From control panel choose "Sounds and audio devices". Then select the "Audio" tab. If you can select advanced from there you should be able to change it. If not select volume. In the menu select "Advanced controls" and then click on the "Advanced" button. It should allow you to select Microphone boost.

i get the error msg saying:
Windows cannot exacute SndVol32.exe, Use Add/Remove Programs control panal to install
and the Advanced way dont work ether

WTF?

did that yesterday all up to date now i think i might have to do with win exploer 7 when i by mistake lost my add-ons sence then ive been missing paint volume controls and my default card games werid :S

Speaking of Teamspeak i have got a new problem. Teamspeak works ok when i´m not playing 2142 but as soon i turn the game on i won´t be able to speak up on teamspeak. I have used teamspeak before in 2142 and it hass worked like it should now i´m not able to say anything and i prefer "push to talk" but nothing happens any clues? Any input is appreciated.

Have had similar problems when starting TS first, i always start the game first and then TS ...... have you checked all the settings ?

Do you mean the button wont work or people can't hear what you saying? If it's the last, you should alter your 2142 voip settings (check/uncheck mic boost) because this overrides windows/TS settings once in a while.
