Ditto, I'm Salvadorean btw so my native tongue is spanish, so in other words I had to learn english before I came here over to the US, I hate every immigrant that whines Americans speak english and they should be taught spanish.... pure bullshit, I totally hate the fact too that Latin folks made the US anthem in spanish and sang it, that is offensive to US citizens, what made them think that would help them?! I for one would be offended if they changed my national anthem into english and most of you were offeended when they changed YOURS to spanish, and with a good reason, changing it was retarded. As far as erasing God from the anthem is concerned, I'm not aware of that. When we sing the anthem at sports events where I live, "In God is our trust" is still sung. I don't personally sing the anthem because I'm not a patriotic person, but I'm not offended by the anthem or its religious references at all.
I also wasn't offended by translating the anthem into Spanish, but I can see why other people were.
