What are you talking about? If someone launched a nuke at the USA there would be LITTLE either of the major political parties could do about it. I don't think that the democrats would NOT declare war on someone if they nuked the USA, it's whats expected.

Woodrow Wilson, the president to saw America into and out of World War 1 WAS A DEMOCRAT
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the president during most of World War 2 WAS A DEMOCRAT
John F Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, the presidents to put America in the Vietnam War WERE BOTH DEMOCRATS.
JFK also saw America through the Cuban Missile Crisis, using the diplomatic approach rather than the military approach that the generals recommended, if JFK took the military approach there would have been Nuclear War, so you can thank a Democrat that your country still exists.
The democrats do have good skills at "defending the nation" but they defend it when it actually has to be defended, they don't have to come up with false reasons to invade countries and cut civil liberties like your darling Republicans have.
