I'm quite fond of the new Battlefield game, despite its glitches and EA's insistence to greedily incorporate an ad system. However I've become somewhat bored with the maps, and would really like to see new content. Anyone know about the inevitable expansions Dice and EA will be pushing out?
Sorry but somebody has to say this.... Search.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
i second that
DONT MAKE BOOSTER PACKS. i hate having to pay online, i like having the hard copy.
release expantion packs like BF2:SF.

go to gamestop, ask for the BF2 Booster pack collection and there you go. and they probably will make booster packs so they can make more money.Machine_Madness wrote:

I tend to support that desire. I'm bored of 2142.alien-DSW-Gen wrote:

The booster packs will become offline available, I read an articel on that. EF and AF together on 1 dvd.
But I do agree on the maps, they get quite boring (Except Verdun=Teh Win).
And I wouldnt mind a vehicle addition or 2 in the future.

we need a new map..
Titan mode CQB FTW. Forget the ground.
there is a HALO mod comming up. If you like mods.
Want maps patched in more.
Oh I hope they don't within the next year, just makes more stuff they have to patch and draws attention away from keeping vanilla running smoothly. Fix what you have first before you go off and do something else.
So you think they'll take the games back and refund the customers? Can't imagine that.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

But it's the only way to fix the issues with this game once and for all.

Yeah, but it shipped with fewer maps than bf2 and several of the maps are strikingly linear . Gibraltar, Fall of Berlin? Fun no doubt but wears thin a bit too quick.alien-DSW-Gen wrote:

But im still making smurfs cry in the old maps....
ya, new maps would be dope. i hope they have some boosters in the future, but i wouldnt count on it for a long time
