Its pretty obvious after a few ventures in the walker that your understand what each weapon is used for....

Plus... the hit places and what not for most things has been covered before.

Additional:

Walkers will get wiped out by a tank over a large distance. So if in a tank then distance is your best bet... vice versa... in a walker against a tank... Get closer....

Dont even attempt to attack the walker with your APC its not worth it. If anything... use your EMP to slow him down... and if anything try and get next to one of them static guns.

So when did I state you do....

I have 39hours under my belt and must of been in the walker about 15 times... Thats why I love this game... with the unlocks then any vehicle can be a sitting duck for an organized squad.

don't get me wrong, infantry combat is fun. and i love it.

but taking out an entire team by yourself in the battlewalker is just really fun.

Yeah but you have to admit that would be on a server of noobies... Because any decent squad you would not have the chance.

Its like the berlin map... the APC owned infantry like none tommorow. But all you need is one person with common sense and that single person can take out the APC every single time it spawns and gets to the choke point.

EDIT: I love this game.... MUCH better than BF2 ;-)

actually it was on my server last night... Tunis Harbor, i was PAC and the EU got stuck back to their uncap. then never left it for the rest of the round. and i was being EMP'd and Static AV'd the whole time.. i even stomped a few kiddies trying to RDX me.
wasn't just your good old karkand "spawncamp da alley with teh apcz"
i actually had to think.

-EMP him. If you have a rocket, run under him and blast his vents. If you have RDX, put em on his legs and blow it.

an apc with a walker
-get as close as you can and use the rockets... very easy

a tank with an apc
-if you're engineer, you can emp it and drive behind it, then bail and shoot it in the back.

a tank with a walker
-get very close and use the rockets. Dont engage at long range.

a walker with a tank
-stay at long range and he cant hit you

an apc with a tank
-shoot it. it cant damage you

Stationary guns with

walker
-use guns plus a couple of rockets

apc
-emp it and use the mortar to kill the guy inside

tank
- blast it (full health guns take 2 shots, so use some cover

I was once RIGHT behind a tank and I emp:ed the guy shot at his weak point 6 whole times before he started to get that SOMEONE was poking in his back. Soon after he was done shooting at his enemy he turned around made 3 shots and I was dead.

Lets not talk about Mech vs APC because you are so screwed with it. It's only meant to transport people this time and butcher them.
