They say this is in retaliation for that cartoon last year, how is this even comparable to that?
There is no outrage from them about beheadings and things like that, but a cartoon and all hell beaks loose. Then, they do something like this. Would anyone like to tell me we are not in a Holy War?

Is this a 'rewording in the form of a debate topic' post then? Here's what I was typing in that thread:

I think that it really proves the point that in the West it's unacceptable to incite hatred against Jews, but it's 'trendy' to do so against Muslims. And so naturally, anyone complaining about Iran spreading hate against Jewish people would be a hypocrite unless they also speak out against the hatred incited against Muslims in Europe...

There were a few threads about this when the competition started. Iran's made it's point by doing it too...

It's called freedom of speech. While I disagree with the idea and I think it's more than a little disgusting to insult the dead that way I also think it's their right to hold it. Comes down to freedom of speech and as soon as any western nation gets shitty over this they are going to have a field day.

Ah, but the fact is that these nations defending the anti-Muslims cartoons have already been shitty about it... and I'm sure the holocaust cartoons have stirred similar sentiments in many people in the West as those which caused the riots for the Muhammed cartoons... reason there aren't any riots and embassy torchings in the West?:
