Ok guys, I know Ik in RL.  He is a cool cat.  Yes he likes to stir up the shit pot.  So?  It makes for good debates.

He is not racist

He is not anti semitic.

He is not sexist.

He is a good guy who happens to have these crazy little things called thoughts.  Doesn't go with the grain and doesn't roll over when he hears someone say "This is how it is".

Now I will admit, he can drive me bat shit sometimes, however you just need to tell him to go get fucked and all is well.... or it just works for me.

To the haters, I am sorry you cannot handle anyone else's views but your own.  Send me you address and I will mail you a box of tissues you can use to whip your eyes, or your belly.

Personally, I don't really care for Ikarti and I kind of think he is a douchebag/prick/dipshit, but on the other hand I cannot say that he should be permabanned, because that would make me a hypocrite.

I have been temp banned 3 times.  Perma banned once.  As you can see, I am still here.  This was only because of the people in the community who saw that I had either made friends with or thought I had something to contribute to the site.  Was I unjustly perma banned......I think so, but on the other hand, I also had 3 prior temp bans, so I "legally" should have stayed banned.

Well, the great thing about this site is that they don't always go by the books, as the reality of me writing this post states.  People here actually care.  _{and yeah i care sometimes too.}

Ikarti wasn't wrongly banned.  However, I do believe that a few of his temp bans were a bit unnecessary.  Some people would make the argument that it was because of his stance on political issues in the D&ST section and I agree.  Ikarti was such a hard headed asshole that debating him was like pounding your head against a wall, but none the less, he was on one side and I was on the other, and that folks is what debate is all about.  It takes two to tango.  Ikarti wasn't like by a lot be he contributed to the forum by being a dissenting and opposing voice on a lot of threads, which bred debate, which is the basis of the section.

Therefore, in my opinion, he was contributing to the site.  I was given a second chance, so how can I deny him the same?  My vote goes for Yes.

I like Iktari, I find his cynical ways to be quite entertaining. I'm quite a cynic myself. So yeah, I'd say an unban is in order.
