well seeing as its neither...
and i think everyone has a soft-spot for the bands they listen to when they're teenagers. can't say i have any affinity to 'metalcore' or any of that 'bree bree' shite that people think is 'br00tal' nowadays... but some of my favourite bands of all-time could be considered post-hardcore or 'heavy'. even stuff like at the drive in and glassjaw.

is it just my ears playing tricks with me or should they have tuned their guitars better? i think i hear a lot of beats. or maybe one/both of 'em use chorus effect of something?

It's true, I still listen to The Fall of Troy, and the Dillinger Escape Plan every so often. You definitely grow out of it once you hit college and get exposed to the massive amounts of culture. Unless your name is poseidon or nukie, they pretty much just live under a rock forever.Uzique wrote:
