I would actually have to say that 2142 is better. I played it for the first time today and it is true what they say, there are less "noobs", and the game is more difficult yet more fun to learn.

I believe that you cannot directly compare the games, they're based in different times, bf2 is aimed to be a "realistic" fps shooter, while 2142 was created all based on imagination and such.

i dont know. most of the people here have played bf2 for quite a while, so are used to it, while, at max, have played bf2142 for a week. so im not sure u can decide which is best yet. IMHO, bf2142 has a much steeper learning curve, tho that dusnt make it bad. plus, thers bound to be noobs everywhere, its not been out long!

It's not fair to compare the two, as they are completely different games, despite what some may say. They look similar, yes; the way that you must play the game and the way everything works makes them different.
