Simple question. How does it handle in the full version of battlefield 2142?
Like a ferrari?
I like it much more than the standard assault weapon, but I'm not sure how it compares to the baur. All I know is that I now have plenty of ammo to take out up to 4 people at once.

I have the Baur and I LOVE it. I once came face to face with a dude with the Voss, and he emptied an ENTIRE MAG point blank range and hit me only once. Go for Baur if you like open maps.

It's definitly not a ranged weapon. Great for Titan mode if you're attacking or defending but in the open terrain it's not go great. Overall I wasn't too happy with it. I dont have the Baur but I did get the Lambert last night before I logged off. GET THIS GUN, amazing

It's a LIGHT assault Rifle, so it's good at Short to Medium range.
At a distance you're not gonna do enough damage to kill your enemy before he kills you.

Lambert Carbine is still the best lol but the voss is all good but its not terribly accurate in sticky situations...
I picked up the baur off a dead man last night... it is ridiculous, I wish I hadn't gotten the voss now. The baur wins hands down.

Depends on the range. The Baur is great for medium to long range on single shot. In close combat where fast rate of fire and clip side play a factor, the VOSS L-AR will probably win. I like the Baur the best so far because I like to pick off pesky enemies from longer range and still have power for up close. I just have to have my shotgun attachment at the ready or a support player nearby in my squad. Baur is the 2142 what the G3 is to BF2. i think i have more chance counter sniper with the ak in bf2 over 300m than getting anything with the 2142 rilfes.
