True, but as the the guy getting dragged out of your can and beaten, would you want to find out if it would end in your murder?KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

honestly i'd just give up my car and let the police sort it out. My car isn't worth me or someone else getting killed.
Easy to say since the car owner is alive. Mine car isn't worth getting killed if they just want the car, but there's no way to tell if you're dealing with a practical or crazy criminal.
True. Like I said, I take issue with the fact the dude said that his life was probably saved. It's his way of rationalizing his behavior. And it makes sense. But that doesn't mean it's right.
I like Corbon JHPs. Good stuff, but sometimes they won't go all the way in to battery with the HKs. I have to whip the slide back and let go
I like a round chambered, decocked, safety off. the double action pull is good enough

yeah i wish the P30 didn't have the safety. no big deal but i don't need it. might make it a LEM DAO. i've heard a lot of good things about that varient. trigger pull is similar to a glockwest-phoenix-az wrote:

He'd much rather it be someone else like his Dad, mom, sister... Or worse you, me. After all, it is just a beating at minimum.RAIMIUS wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
You read his mind and ascertained that is what he wanted?KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

there's a gas station down the street from my house. not even ten houses down the street. a few years ago the lady that worked there, who i knew, got carjacked after her shift early in the morning. she didn't fight back and they shot her in the head twice. they pretty much executed her. the two little cocksuckers who did it were still in highschool. i think they went to the same school i went too.

Well, according to the law here in CO, all you need to have is fear of SBI to use deadly force.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
Fearing for his life and his life actually being in danger are two different things.
I hear negotiating with a criminal can also be a good idea
something along the line of : criminal can take wallet and I take 2 graze shot in either arms ( choice of arms is up to criminal discretion ) - criminal takes wallet, watch and smartphone and I take 1 shot in the calf from side with caliber ranging from .22 to 38 spl ( choice of calf is up to me ) - criminal takes car and I take 1 shot in the Right butt cheek
Make sure to carry this checklist and mention SERE for a 10%off on your next carjacking

They make them without the manual safety. How is the DA and SA pull on the P30 compared to the P2000? I hear the P2000 has a better pull. I haven't handled a P30 yet.1stSFOD-Delta wrote:

The SA pull on the P30 is better than the P2000, I think. DA is still pretty hard.west-phoenix-az wrote:

Unless you specifically ask, I think all P30s come with safety's now. When they first came out they didn't have the safety like the P2000.
The hand ergos are amazing. I use the small side panels and medium back strap. I like the "batman" texture too.

Do they make them with a standard manual safety (non-ambi)?
Still have your box to verify the model number?
Does this look accurate?
Looks like even with the manual safety they kept the decocker on the rear, which I prefer over the safety lever decockers like the USPs.
