Installed a Timney 510 trigger in my 308 last night.  I actually didn't mind the trigger in my 308, it was the trigger in my 223 that was unpleasant.  If I'm gonna spend some money on a trigger it's going on my 308 so I moved the 308 trigger to the 223.  Remington's x-mark pro isn't a terrible trigger, they break clean and aren't too heavy, but they tend to be inconsistent and adjusting them isn't worth the hassle.  This Timney is a nice little mechanism.  The break is very sharp and it's set to 3 pounds, whereas the old x-mark hovered between 5-6 pounds.  I may end up getting one for my 223.

My 223 below.  The barrel isn't really fast enough for shooting beyond 500 yards.  But it's fun and cheap and there's no recoil, it's like shooting a .22.  It shoots around 1moa with the 55gr. bulk I run through my AR.  I don't think I've ever put any match ammunition through it.  It'd probably shoot a little tighter.

I like the look of the .233 better, the .308 is too chunky for my tastes, haha. But meh, aesthetics

Friend of mine has this one. Easy to use (as it doesnt use CO2 capsules) and very powerful.

I feel like im going to get a lot of hate for this, but there isnt really any other place to post this.

If that's the legal way to go in your area, I won't criticize.

Some Japanese guys practice with airsoft, since they cannot keep real pistols in Japan.  They still do decently well in IPSC, when they can compete.

nothing wrong with an air rifle.  I've got an RWS model 52 air rifle and P5 air pistol.  They're both dead accurate.  Pneumatic guns are a great for practicing trigger control and follow through because they're cheap to shoot and the slow speed of the projectile puts more emphasis on the shooter's control of the internal ballistics.

Not hatin, but to get 1 thing straight. Airgun=/=airsoft
Airguns are designed for target practise and small game hunting and airsoft is designed for playing airsoft (although you can also use it for target practise)
I already have an airsoft gun (which isnt legal) that i use for target practise, but i want something a little more mature (i guess) and it is legal as long as i keep it in my house or on my own property where no one can see it.

New grips on the Mk.III.  They're not stylish but, god damn, they're comfortable.

They're Hogue grips.  I've got them on 3 or 4 other handguns and my AR.  Wish they made one for my CETME.

Is that a Leapers bipod on the rifle?  How do you like it?

I have no idea. I picked it up for 20$ or something cheap at a gun show eon's ago. I don't even have the rifle any more to check. It did the job well enough, but since it's the only bipod I've owned, I don't have a lot of grounds for comparison.
