One of the most underrated maps in BF2. But what if the rivers freeze over and the place is covered in snow!? Here's the potential map description:

In 2140, the PAC had received intel that the quiet Zatar Wetlands contained vast oil reserves. The PAC sent oil drilling crews to the area to inspect. When oil was found and word got on to EU leadership, both militaries mobilized to engage in a bloody battle for the precious black gold.

I think it would rock. Premiere thing for 2142 Patch 1.01 anyone?

Or remake a good map. I not a karkand lover, but Zatar is probably least played. It lacks any major geographical features. I would like to see shongua stalemate remade. Or Devils Perch from SF

Thats the smartest suggestion Ive heard in a LONG time. I wish they had more of those servers playing that. It was probably because the tanks and things beat everything. But with 2142... MY GOD, that would be spectacular!

They never fucked up BF2 imo :3 they just balanced it out and it actually got better. BF2142 is pretty balanced so far so we might not see any balance pathes to it.
