I honestly don't care about it enough but I also like it cause it shows that i'm testing it. Kind of like a badge of honor maybe?kylef wrote:

Oh I can't stand having stuff on my desktop. I just clean it a min ago before I posted that. I had Project 606 crap all over it.

Very nice. I like desktops like that. Simple clean and right to the point. Although if I had yours mine would say. 21F and under that would be "Shit fuck of snow."
Completely agree. I can't stand having a bajillion shortcuts on my desktop. Hell, I can't even handle having a bajillion things in my quick launch.Naturn wrote:

All I've got on my desktop is the recycle bin, and all I've got on quick launch is the 'show desktop' button. There are times when I'll save documents temporarily on my desktop, but those are things that I need to take care of. It's a pretty nice system, actually. Having icons up there when there aren't supposed to be grabs my attention and reminds me of any 'computer-related errands' I have.
I'm sure I'm probably the only person with a ridiculously organized start menu, too Everything's set into categories, and I switched out all the stupid folder icons for relevant ones.

I prefer windows default. Well more like Vista and 7 default. I'm getting the impression the M$ might give uses a chance to create themes for windows and installing them just like you would widgets for the sidebar from M$ site.
does anyone have links/dl files of xp skins?
