This great leader spends most of his time trying to piss the rest of the world off. We are not just talking about the United States, take a look around and see what other countries have condemned his acts. These include North Koreas only allies. He uses what little money and resources that nation has on building a weapons program while relying on the rest of the world to feed his people. Yea, now that is a great leader. It's nice to see you advocate using threats to get the world to bend to what you want.nancyhutto wrote:
Now that North Korea has nukes, there is nothing to worry about. The doors to dialogue are beginning to open, and the truth will come out. All of the negative propaganda spread by the bush-controlled press will be proven wrong. Kim Jong Il will be proven to be the great leader he is. Kim is just fighting for his people like George Washington and the light of truth will show what a great leader he is.

I wouldn't call him a great leader, per say. Sure, he isn't the evil madman hype would have us believe, but contrary to Machiaveli, generosity and benevolence are pretty important qualities in great leadership.nancyhutto wrote:

You do realize he is starving his people into poverty while he lives in luxury, right? Stop being such a tool.nancyhutto wrote:

Quoted for absolute truthAenima_Eyes wrote:
Kim Jong Il just wants to continue ruling his people with an iron fist. He knows that if too many of them starve to death they won't be able to feed his fat face and they'll probably revolt. So, he acts like he's going to fuck with the USA so we give him money and food. He's never going to do anything with that nuclear technology except use it as a bargaining tool to keep himself in power.
Problem is, the USA can't do anything about getting him out of power. He's basically the same as Saddam and look what happened when we got rid of Saddam. We got bitched at by the entire world. Same thing would happen if we got rid of Kim Jon Il. Everyone would denounce us for meddling in the world's affairs and killing innocents and blah blah blah. However it is a no-win situation because people are already talking shit about us for not dealing with Kim Jong Il earlier. It's already all our fault because we "forced him into this position." What a load of horseshit.
Then why won't our 'hero' inspect all incoming freight to the US?ATG wrote:
Exactly, our hero, W is considering a ful naval and air blockade. Or inspections of all incoming and out going freight.

Nice try at the politics but remeber, clinton was in office in 1994 all the way through 2000, so instead of worrying about the nasty under his desk, he should have been worried about the nasties across the pacific. now we have a stained dress and a bigger mess in DPRK!Masques wrote:

What exactly did the deal we made with North Korea to give them Light Water Reactors in the mid-90s do to help them with their current Nukes?Unfortunately, the Bush adminstration didn't hold to their end of the agreement and froze both the sale of the proliferation-resistant reactors and the fuel oil shortly after coming to power. On October 21, 1994, the United States and North Korea signed an agreement-the Agreed Framework-calling upon Pyongyang to freeze operation and construction of nuclear reactors suspected of being part of a covert nuclear weapons program in exchange for two proliferation-resistant nuclear power reactors. The agreement also called upon the United States to supply North Korea with fuel oil pending construction of the reactors. An international consortium called the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO) was formed to implement the agreement.

Yes a North Korean Real estate agent has infiltrated the BF2s forums..lolTurquoise wrote:
nhutto is likely a North Korean misinformation agent. Note the formulaic responses she has posted in a few different threads.
Believe it or not, such agents actually exist. South Korea is in the midst of trying to neutralize them among their political dissidents.
You're probably wondering why an agent would bother posting here, but I'd assume they have a lot of time to kill. A lot of what they do involves making innocuous remarks in random media sources. I'll see if I can find a better example.

Kmarion... Ask yourself this. Why would a middle aged realtor be playing bf2? Doesn't that seem kind of out of place to you?
I mean, hey... Anything is possible, but I noticed this same person posted something almost identical in another forum. Google the email: http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:sh2 … k&cd=3Kmarion wrote:

She spammed that same reply twie in another north korean thread.. Seriously something is up with that user.We should be working to electrify North Korea and provide them with expanded reactors instead of trying to shut them down. Kim Jong Il is truly a great leader, and once the world opens a dialogue with him, we will see this. As a student at Baylor, I was part of an exchange program with North Korea and spent a year there. I met kim and experienced his utopian paradise (and yes it really is). Kim is great. Many years down the road, he may well be viewed as a figure near Mohammed or Jesus!

I hold the suspicion that with the name and e-mail being left in each message, this person is trying to forward nasty e-mails to some innocent.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
