Uh, no.

It's either a glitch or just has to do with the demo mechanics. I've gotten the best score of the round, as a squad leader, and get 0 SPM. I've had a rediculous amount of team(career?) points and gotten about a final score of 4 during a round.

Stars go to highest SPM. I've gotten a gold by entering a server, somehow getting in a "battlewaker" and just owning the crap out of everything. Like a 2.34 SPM.

it has nothing to do with spm, it is more evolved than the bf2 awards.

The SPM (yes, that is SPM not K/D ratio) meter is bugged.... it worked fine in the demo. When you see someone with 0.00 it means their SPM counter is bugged and they cannot receive gold/silver/bronze stars, its not PS.

guys to get a gold star or silver or bronze in 2142 its your team work score that counts so basiclly you could get 500 kils in a round but stilll come last to someone that has more team owrk points than you take a look at the person with gold start he has alot on team work points

I think you have that backwords, it's your combat score that counts.

The guy in the first post is leading in EVERY stats. He got most kills. Least deaths. Most team points almost twice as much as the one who got Gold medal.

Maybe it has something to do with following orders from Commander or something. Because I have seen this happening to.
