I am willing to bet UT2K4 and BF2142 are nothing alike. And UT2K4 kicked ass btw.
Well I love 2142- its soo much better then bf2, mabye you just didnt play it long enough?
To me it's just BF2 with space-age skins.

I loved the beta, besides the crashes. Maybe the demo is different though, I haven't played it yet.

Mmmkay..like UT2004 is like the best UT ever made IMO. And BTW UT does not suck.. I grew up with that game..

yeah im also dl'ing the demo... and i didnt preorder through the downloader i was surprised how easy it was for me to find about 10 minutes of searching....ahhh 4 hours to go

Well the beta sucked big time, about a million people (including me) said so. I'm not even going to bother dl'ing the demo, whats the point, i wish i never downloaded Euro force/ Armored fury and BF2142 will be no different. /rantdundee_hitman_2005 wrote:

From what I've read over at BF2142.com, the demo sucks becuase there are no unlocks!. No grenades, shock paddles, c7, etc. So i guess people shouldn't completely judge the game from the demo

Dude BF2142 is only like UT2004 in setting and art and stuff. Gameplay is still closer to bf2, fail.

this is my entire take on the demo. i like the game so far but its so limited compared to bf2 because of the lack of equipment that are now unlocks. This demo really isn't a good way for someone to judge the actual game if they like ground pounding. The vehicles however get a good test.
