I should think it'll be over the internet in 6-7 hours if it's that small.
Still, I know alot of people have decided to actually pull a judge, jury and executioner on this game before they even see the finished product, but I'm sticking by the BF series, once you've got it up and running tell us how it is jester.

If you have an even half-way decent internet connection it won't take too long.
I only download at about 130-140kbs and a 1.1GB file only takes about 3 hours, although as a whole load of people will be getting it I'm thinking more like 4-5 hours.

Ill try the demo, but futuristic crap doesnt suit me well.

Did you have to preorder it from the EA site, because I preordered mine from EB Games.

I would have thought that preordering it from EBGames or any other retailer would mean you have to wait until the public demo is released at midnight (GMT) tomorrow.

Just finished DL. Now it says released in 6+ hrs....4am EST

anyone who preorders I believe gets a 7 day advance download before the actual release date.
no, the only advantage of the preorder for the demo that is, is you will have the chance to download and play it a full 24 hours before anyone else who hasnt pre-oredered it. Also it has to be preordered from EA downloader.
