George Bush goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to get a little PR.

After his talk he offers question time.
One little boy puts up his hand and George asks him his name.

"Peter," responds the little boy.

And what is your question, Peter?"


"I have 4 questions:

First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN?

Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes?

Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden?

Fourth, why are we so worried about gay-marriage when 1/2 of all
Americans don't have health insurance?"

Suddenly the recess bell rings.

Bush informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.

When they resume George says, "OK, where were we? Oh, that's right,
question time. Who has a question?"

I'm not saying that anyone in this thread has said this, but I've seen sentiments expressed here and elsewhere...but if liberals/dems/leftists/etc. are a bunch of cut and run pussies/wusses/wussies/etc. why are there so many conservatives that are (semingly) afraid of them? Why the fear that they will do things like "drag Republicans and their families out into the streets to stone them to death"?

Such fear of things that are supposedly weaker. It's odd.

the difference with hollywood and us is that us "real people" don't think that the proper method of changing a tire is to call the bentley dealership and have them do it for us, and we know how much milk costs, because we can't pay our illegal alien housekeeper to go buy our groceries for us, they are so out of touch with reality and are so emotionally unstable that their primadonna pontifications usually mean less than nothing to me

I love how people like Sean Penn and George Clooney's efforts for political, humanity, and otherwise changes for the better are discounted because they're actors.  Are actors supposed to be mutant sub-human citizens or something?  Does their money and fame make their words less meaningful?

Or is there jealousy, resentment, and other unwarranted feelings towards them that makes people foam at the mouth and cry "left-leaning hollywood corruption!"  Seriously, I'd like to know if any critics of said film stars have ever met people like Sean Penn or George Clooney.

I don't include Sean Penn in what Kr@ker said, but most of the actors have that attitude.

yeah, on the surface it's all "feed the hungry" and the like, what I don't care for is when they start browbeating people into thinking that you should give your respective government/the UN more power over your personal lives, or said governments should increase taxation or start telling you how to live to pay for the sustainment of said humanitarian disaster, I say sustainment because the most common one seems to be government induced famines by warlords and the like, and their answer of just throwing money at it just prolongs these tragedies, as opposed to education, research, diplomacy, and eventually military intervention, all real solutions

however, in the end, if we decide to go the rest of our lives without ever contributing money, supplies, resources, labor and such, that is well within our rights also, those knobs have no right to push some legislature, often through opinion rather than on factual basis (it also pisses me off to no end when someone says "they're famous, they must be right") that forces me to do something that i have no obligation to do, not to mention their whole double standard, like when they run around telling people they are evil for not pursuing windpower while quietly lobbying bills that make sure said windmill farms will never be placed anywhere near where they live

basically they're just assholes, I've done the acting/modeling scene and never was impressed with people based on their "starpower", no matter how little or big, nor was I impressed when I was in radio and music promotions, perfect example was when "the last samurai" came out, everyone was all googoo gaagaa over tom cruise "he learned how to ride horses and sword combat all on his own and didn't want to use doubles at all, it was amazing how hard he worked"....................whooptifucking-doo!!! He worked so hard getting paid to do shit I wish I had the spare time/money to pay someone else to teach me.

Michael Moore is one of the better patriots of this country.  The dude actually cares about this country, it's direction, and mostly about its people and soldiers.  Oh, and he's quite a brave patriot compared to the chickenhawks like coulter, o'reilly, cavuto, hannity, limbaugh, savage, kristol, and others like them who sure talk tough but don't do jack to make a difference.  Their money is their god and love.  Were it not so, they'd have airdropped themselves into Baghdad long ago.  Seriously, how can you support war and bloodshed sooooo vigorously and not volunteer?
