prolly same as bf2 i reckon. they should have learnt from the patch fiasco by now tho so it should be ok.
i still aint gonna buy bf2142 till its cheap tho coz i still got a lot of shit to get on bf2 and i dont really like futuristicish (that there is a real word that i just made up) shooters!
heres hoping they stick everything from all the bf2 addons into vanilla ( grappling hooks on kark etc...MADNESS! whole new game and the clan side will be a bit bonkers too when peeps start work on taccies)

bf2412 is just bf2 with skin and new scripts, so im guessing it might be the same, but who knows, im not getting it until i hear good stuff from the game
Since 2142 is the same engine as BF2 I would assume that lot of things they fixed in BF2 will stay fixed in 2142, but I can't imagine 2142 won't need patching at all.
Either way, I think I'll give it a miss, BF2 was traumatic enough. lol

I think it will be about as good as BF2 was on launch and up until 1.2. Its gonna take a while for the whiners to complain loud enough for DICE to start nerfing things.

Canada makes the patches. Nuff said.
They learned their lesson. There may be some release bugs (yes, it was rushed), but they should be fairly quickly fixed by patch(es). They will not blow this, because they know that if they do, they will never be able to do another succesful BF game again.
And seriously, beta testers have said that 2142 actually feels more realistic than BF 2!
