BF2S Forums it does not look good for 2142

you mean the connection problem or that horrid reticule? first of all i hate games with futuristic weaponary especially when they have nasty scopes that block your sight with that stupid blue glow....

Every game i have ever played in my entire life has crashed at least once.

Live with the fact that shit happens, and get over it.

My Digital arts class spent $22,000 on Photoshop CS2 and Adobe FinalCut Pro, and they are on Macs. They crash once or twice every month

The awesome cyborg scope is 1/2 of the gameplay screen... awesome!  Little did you know that there isn't just that enemy he has his sites on.. but one to the left and one to the right, right behind the thick black blob of a scope.

The blue glow isn't that bad, and the recticle itself isn't much bigger than some BF 2 guns.  Don't hate BF 2142 when you haven't even played the damned demo!

And that "There is a problem with your connection" thing isn't even a crash always... sometimes it just means you go for maybe 10 seconds and get back into the game (though you usually die by then, at least it's only a single stupid death).  And then there's the fact that it's probably a beta shot (betas are always buggy and crash-prone), and it's not like other games won't crash your system.

I truly hope that EA publishes how many BF2 "veterans" play BF2142, using that Veterans Program plus Registration as a guide.  If the number is 400,000, then pretty much everybody is full of crap...
