great costumes, amazing photography, excellent scripting, stellar cast, and unsurpassed music score, put spaghetti westerns on the map, and has been imitated to no end, it is the standard by which all action/suspense/mystery movies are measured, and what better trifecta than Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, and Lee Van Cleef?
