I know I'm responding to a closed and dead topic, but Noop-Ni, how can you complain that unlocks are like cheats when you yourself use the prone glitch to get in quick Sniper shots?
I remain unimpressed. You're a good shot, so why do you need to resort to cheap tactics?

sooooooo, if i was working on a career as a pilot and i go to school and earn new ratings (VFR, Night) putting the time and effort into earning those ratings as a reward, then it's not fair that i get a better paying job over the guy that just got his commercial licence?

I bought BF2, and have access to all the unlock weapons in the original game, once I actually unlock them by playing. However, there are players using far superior weapons such as the sniper L96A1, the P90, the assault gun? SCAR-L? Flashbangs? that did not come with my game - It came with the Special Forces expansion pack.
So in essence, some of us were playing against players that had weapons I don't have access to - unless I buy Special Forces. Now tell me that is fair.

But against a large group of enemies the Jackhammer has an advantage due to its higher rate of fire, yes? While that may not happen often, it's still better under some circumstances. Besides, there are some unlocks which are better in almost all ways. The P90 is better than the stock submachineguns, no question.

Oh, I believe it. I mean, unlocks are an advantage. Advantages which are not shared by all players are unfair. Aimbots are an advantage. They are not used by the majority of players, and are therefore unfair.

I somewhat understand what the OP is talking about but I wouldn't go so far as to call it "Cheating".
It's clearly an advantage (as in the ability to choose the right weapon for a specific map/situation) but cheating may be a bit harsh.

The L96A1 is a sniper rifle and is more powerful than the AK101.
If your talking about the L85A1 (34 damage) then yes, the AK101 (37 damage) is more powerful.
You mean 'fair' advantage if anything. Fair because anyone can get an unlock without too much trouble, just play and get better, it still takes skill to shoot someone with an unlock weapon. The game play remains as intended by the game creators.Noop-Ni wrote:
