Well, I very well may have missed some of the arguments, but I honestly can't see too many. There's the one which claims that unlocks don't give an advantage, but the choice is still better, so that one can be discounted. There's the one that claims that the developers put unlocks in the game, so they must be fair, but I don't honestly think that's true. There's your one that quotes the ROE, but I'm operating by my definition of cheating, not theirs, and by my definition, using an unfair advantage is cheating.

What definition of cheats are we thinking of. You're own little worlds "cheats" or the cheats that are outlined in the ranked server wide set of rules? And the eula, etc...

Unlocks are not unfair because they are a reward you have to earn. It's like saying "It's unfair that the CEO of <huge company> has the ability to chose whether to eat in the cafeteria or to have personal chef cook for him!". It's not, because that CEO put a lot of time and effort in his work to get in the position he is in, which is providing him with these options.

It's basically the same with BF2. The people who have Unlocks put time and effort in the game and were rewarded for this with unlocks. They've earned and deserved them.
Therefor unlocks are not unfair.
How about that one? Or are you going to continue ignoring all valid arguments and just focus on those flaming you because they are easier to ward off?
