Someone already gave you the answer: There's no advantage to the unlocks. Just pros and cons like with all the guns.

To some the stock weapons are better than the unlocks, and to others the unlocks are better. Since the unlocks doesn't give a clear advantage to all, it can't be considered cheating. It's not like someone with an unlock will own, while someone with just stock weapons will BE owned. It all depends on the person playing.

Also, the unlocks are in the game, so it's not cheating to use them. It's like telling someone that they can buy a car, but if they start it they'll be arrested.

The entire point of competetive gaming is a contest of skill between two players. Increased experience translates to increased skill, and thus, a greater chance of victory. As the determining factor of who should win fights is skill, at least in my mind, greater experience providing an advantage is entirely acceptable.


But hey, you came up with a reasonable response. That's better than most of this thread.

Unlocks are only considered cheating in the eyes of an unskilled player.

Because someone spent hours playin the game and EARNED them. Why does a noob who just got the game have the right to have what the veterans have. In reality the weapons just fire different. I actually do better with the M16 than I do with the f2000.

If you mean that everyone has the ability to get unlocks, then that's not really too valid either, as everyone also has the ability to download an aimbot.
