Hola Señores y Señoritas!
BF2s.com is not censored in Cuba it would seem! I am in my hotel lobby in Havana sipping on a mojito as we speak. My buddy arrives tomorrow. Piece of advice = never fly through Charles De Gaulle airport, Paris.
I´m going to use this thread to comment on my trip to this unique communist country sitting at the doorstep of the United States whenever I get internet access (which is pretty slow here actually) and when I return I´ll post pics and conclusions.
First impressions = the place needs a lick of paint but watching the people go about their affairs through the window of my taxi from the airport gave me the impression that life here is one big team effort. I´m gonna do my best to learn as much as I can about REAL Cuba. I´ll report back in as balanced a fashion as I can. I´m not one for laid back beach style holidays = Í´ll be getting my hands dirty and exploring as much of the place as I can (much like I did in Palestine). Incidentally the hotel I´m in seems oddly to be some sort of jewish hotel (with a kosher restaurant) = ironic given my views on Israel.
Anyway hasta luego!
El Comandante
PS Spanish configured keyboards are fucking annoying!
