you have to put §CO in the global.con file. open it up with notepad and edit the line
GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "§CO"
I think that's it, but someone should try it to make sure it works. you also have to save the file for the setting to take effect.

Yes, orange name. Of note is that it also removes the first two characters of your name, so just put two spaces after the "§CO" so it is like this "§CO " easy cheesey.

Actually, typing alt-2-1 is the correct way to do it. ASCII only has 256 symbols. If you type in 789, you are effectively typing in 789 mod 255, which is 21.

Also, you only need the §C for the colour. The other bytes are just filling it seems. Leave them out, and you truncate your name by three characters in both the scoreboard and the messages (try it out). I doubt it would affect the scoring at all, because you still log in with the unmodified user name.

As I said above, you only need the §C - but if you don't wan't your name truncated in the map, you have to add at least three other characters (it doesn't matter what, they won't be visible except in the scoreboard tally after the map ends) after the §C (e.g. §C000 or §CXPQ).

Well your name is red if you are an enemy and making it red might get you alot of teamkills. Why would you want to make it Pink and i thinnk if you try to change the C to another letter you might get a different result.
