i prefer the l96a1 if im playing the sniper kit although i usually use the m95 to tk nubs outta my chopper.

m95 roxx for baseraping, and m24 is great if you dont have special forces unlocks... but l96a1 is pwning everything!

thats what i hear but man ive heard A LOT of opinions. some say that the L96A1 has more bullet drop than any other, they say it is more accurate than the M24 and that it is wuieter and better scope. but people also say the exact counter to that. it would be nice if DICE could just tell what is better up front. or EA or whatever it is. lol

Nothing beats an M24

I prefer the M95 myself. it'sthe only sniper rifle I have got kills from( I think) and when I use the M24, I can't seem to hit anything. even when scoped.
M24 has less bulletdrop , L96A1 has better scope .

M95 dishes out more damage... to anything on the map.

For some reason, the M24 reticle is deep red for me, which I find annoying. I still use that if it's available, unless I'm camping an aircraft spawn. I usually use the L96.
L96A1, although M95 is the way to go if you're playing Ghost Town. There are just too many shots at chopper pilots to use anything else if you're sniping. One thing that some people forget about the L96 is that it is quieter than the other rifles...making it more difficult for your targets to determine your location and firing vector. Although the point is moot if the enemy commander is doing their job.

In case it escaped anyone's notice there is no L96A1 in SF, so this thread is a little misplaced.
As for the original question there's little to choose between the two guns as they are equally accurate in terms of the bullet, with only the variations in their scopes and the minor difference in reload time to really make much of a difference (plus the sound, although this is a minor thing overall). So this pretty much comes down to personal preference more than good/better.

L96A1 is the technically better sniper, but M24 i like more. Best Sniper Rifle's are SVD and Type-88. Think About it.
