Anyone had any luck getting Ghost 8.0 to work with a raptor 74GB? Everytime I reload the image from the ghost image, I get a bluescreen when loading windows...
Try using Acronis True Image Pro.
It's a free trial and it works like a champ.

Thanks for the info
Hrmm, not sure if you can use that APP to restore an entire Image. Can you boot from the acronis disk to begin the restore?
How does it work....
Very intriguing!

It's very easy. Install the new, blank HD as slave (also must be plugged into the middle (slave) position of your IDE cable). Turn on your pc. Make sure the new HD is visible to your pc (if not, right click on My Computer and select Manage, then set the drive to Active by way of Disk Management) Once it's ready, open up Acronis and tell it to copy your HD to the new one. It will exit out of windows and copy everything over, at the same time, resizing your partion. When it's finished, take out the new HD, set the jumoer to Master, install it at the end of your IDE cable, turn the pc on and you're done.Timelord_ wrote:

Thanks mate.
How big is your image file? You can restore from a DVD if it's not too big.
