I'm installing the whole BF2 "package" to a new notebook. It used to be this way:

BF2 Vanilla
SF Expansion Pack
Patch v1.3 (Full)
Armored Fury  (Note: I'm not installing Euroforces)

What would be the order now with Patch v1.4 release?
My guess is:

BF2 Vanilla
SF Expansion Pack
Patch v1.3 (Full)
Armored Fury
Incremental Patch v1.3 - 1.4 (140 MB)

How you install BF2 if you got Special Forces and both Booster Packs.

Or you could install the 1.3 patch, then the 1.3 to 1.4 if you dont want to install the full update, I am not taking chances, I read too many bad reviews of the incremental update today.

I normally reboot after I install each "individual" game, it may be overkill, but I havent (knock on wood) had any issues with the game so far.

you gotta patch it to 1.2 after you install SF if you want euro forces to work right

I tryed the incremental and it installed fine..but when I launch BF2, it black screens then goes back to desktop.

I just did a fresh install now im dl the 1.4 full patch.

hey on the same subject -
I own all the BF2 boosters and Ef and naturally bf2. 
Lets say I just installed a fresh copy of Vanilla, and do NOT want to install EF and the packs, cant I just install it over the fresh vanilla?

It's the same case for AF, u need patch 1.3 to install it; I don't think it's even possible to install AF without v1.3, the wizard itself warns u about that. For consequence, the patch 1.4 I guess should be the incremental, not the Full one, but I dunno.

No, this won't work because Euro Forces requires 1.2 and Armored Fury 1.3 to install. Therefore you need to install 1.3 or higher after Special Forces and repatch at the end of the installation.
