well, as a pc user who is  in the creative field I must say that macs are more powerful, hands down. I dont know anybody who owns a pc that can hold up to a quad G5 with 16gb of ram. Still, pc is king because of the sheer number of users as well as support by software devs. I voted pc even though macs can be juggernaughts,

Reckon an HP DL580 G3 with 4 Dual Core Xeons and 64Gb RAM would stuff a Quad G5 quite neatly...

Either that or an Integrity Superdome running 64 CPUs and 512Gb RAM ;-)
