While I applaud the kid getting rid of a stupid name before he can understand it, the judge's reason is hyper-religious. Was he serious, or was he being facetious? Either way, it doesn't belong in a modern court of law, and if he's an outspoken Christian fundie he doesn't need to be a judge.
