Winning lotto is one thing but I think even knowing someone that has is a feat on its own and just as rare.

Anyone been fortunate with lotto or have a friend that has won and helped you out? I have always wanted to learn, anyone got any lotto winning advice?

no but my family in south africa knew a lotto-master guy who organized the local lotto pool who had his car hijacked and was kidnapped and was shot in the head because the locals literally thought the guy kept the lotto money in his car/house.

i guess you could say he was a lotto loser.

This guy died for 14 minutes and made a full recovery. He then won a $25,000 car on a scratchie. When the news got him to re-enact him buying a scratchie and winning the car for their segment this actually happened. I remember watching this back in 1999

dauntless won a sweepstakes worth like £25k or something (maybe more). that wasn't a national lottery though, just a sort of syndicalised scheme that people can pay into that has weekly/monthly hand-outs or something. he ended up blowing it on appletinis and VIP britney tickets, as well as reconstructive brow surgery to get that pronounced 'OC' look.

Actually, my old housemate also won second division lotto once, about 18 months ago. It was a touch over $10,000 AUD. He used the bulk of it to pay off some of his then ~$30,000 debt.
