On the file planet help it describes a similar thing:

When I try to get a key, I get "invalid code" when I type in the security code.

This is normally caused by a firewall restricting the security graphic.

Please try the following:

Disable your firewall (if any)
Disable your ad blocker (if any)

Close all but one browser window

Empty your browser cache
Empty temporary internet files

Close all Internet Explorer windows

Restart Internet Explorer

and try again.
