well botht the specs on system requirements for the bf2 and bf2142 are the same, so im guessing that bf 2142 graphics will be a little better, but wont be a WOW! this is so much better graphics....it will be an improvement, but not a massive change...

Better Graphics then BF2? NO! The only visible change is sharper grass and the explosions. The only thing why you think it has better graphics is the more colorfull environment.

EDIT: Oh and they added 3 sorts of snow and rain.

Been playing the beta for a bit. It's pretty lame as far as I am concerned, was hoping for much more but it's not even close to the fun I've gotten from BF2. Major dissapointment. It's possible that it could grow on me but I really doubt it.

Everything on High except Shadows and Effects.

And yea all organic stuff on the map is sharper (trees, Gras etc). The Textures have the same quality like in BF2, but they've added new lightmaps (bumpmaps) for the Soldier models (Best example for it are the gloves).
Oh and the "new" effect on windows.

(Did you ever run 2142 with high effects and checked your FPS at the end of a round were the Titan explodes? I have a drop of ~30FPS o0 thats the Reason why I've changed the Setting to medium
