Tony Blair is obviously an intelligent man. Ever since 9/11 however he has made a large number of monumentally poor, some would say idiotic decisions. He has destroyed whatever legacy he might want to have left, has divided and practically destroyed the Labour party after having made it so successful, he appears to have lost touch with reality and the common man and spouts rhetorical bullshit even Bush would be proud of. The question is: do all of these idiotic decisions, which have gradually stripped the UK of any dignity it might once have had, now qualify a seemingly intelligent man as being an idiot?

I wouldn't call him an idiot. More misguided. When I look into his eyes (on tv) I see a troubled soul. I think he knows he is making a fuck up but feels its the best fuck up he can muster under the control Bush has over him with the economy and oil policies. Hes like the runt dog under the table trying to catch the scraps from Bushes dinner. He thinks the UK needs the scraps to survive. We don't. He should take on the Euro and stop holding onto, across the pond ties and join the rest of Europe. The Euro would suit me as it would economically unite Ireland providing a level playing field between businesses in Northern Ireland and the Republic and allow this region to crawl out of the depression its been in for the last 100 years.

Do you know that he has a painting in his office that talks to him on occasion? He tried to remove it but was not successful. How long does it take to deteriorate the mind of an intelligent individual while confronted with talking furniture?
My guess:
It is difficult beyond believe to make a decision that would please the mass while knowing the secrets the mass is eager to know, but a single man would prefer to forget.
