OK...I'm Buying this PC in the next few days...
I want to go with AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ (AM2) / 2.4GHz / 512kb x2 L2-Cache / 2000MHz FSB.
so this mean I will grab a Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe - Nvidia nForce 570 SLI / Socket AM2 / 1000Mhz HTT / 4x DDR2 / 2x PCI-E 16X / ATX for my board...up to there...I'm OK...

I can't decide for the videoCard...I want Nvidia....but whitch...

2 in SLI of :Asus EN7600GS Silent HTD nVidia GeForce 7600GS(400MHz) 512MB GDDR2(540MHz) 128-Bit Dual Link DVI-I HDTV-Out PCI Express Graphics Card

or

2 in SLI of : eVGA e-GeForce 7600GT CO Superclocked (600MHz) 256MB DDR3 128-Bit (1560MHz) SLI Ready Dual DVI-I HDTV PCI Exress Graphics Card

Next is the RAM...DDR2 is what the board take...

OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz EL Gold Edition 2GB (2X1024MB) Dual Channel Kit (OCZ26672048ELGEGXT-K)

or

Kingston ValueRAM DDR2-667 2GB (2 X 1024MB) Non-ECC CL5 (KVR667D2N5K2/2G)

or

Corsair DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz Value Select 2GB KIT (2X1024MB) 240-pin Unbuffered DIMM (VS2GBKIT667D2)

OK this is about it....

I can't decide for RAM or VC...need help....

get a single 7900GT over the 2 7600's.   a single 7900GT is just as good if not better than 2 7600's.   When the time comes to upgrade, get a second 7900GT....

and in my experiencez(I build gaming computers for a living), valueram is never that good.   If you can afford it (by only getting one video card) go for some OCZ or Corsair non valueram.

Ok so There is buffered, un-buffered, Ecc...non-Ecc....
I don't understand shit about this...
I'm putting 2000 of my own money in it and since it's one of the most important component for gaming, I don't want to invest for nothing if I'm putting 250 for DDR2...might as well get something who worth it

way to much for what your paying... get a conroe man, an E6600 beats the FX62 and costs around 350usd... and your ram is way overpriced... 260 bucks for cas 3 ddr400? i can get ddr2 800mhz cas 4 for around 200bucks... btw. your system is AM2, ddr ram wont be supported.

They were until Last week.

Times are a changin....

The Conroe stuff is awesome...  Still waiting on my E6600 though....   B/O

WHile the Pair of 7600 GT's are good..  Even better than a single 7900GT..  You are done there..  No upgrade unless you replace the cards.....    Get the One 7900GT or ATI X1900GT

i would suggest you get a 1900xt since the prices are dropping after the release of 1950xt. and the current conroe mobos dont support SLI
