aimbot? why not have a ...playbot, which PLAYS THE WHOLE GAME FOR YOU?

all you do is start it up, then 24 hours later see your kill count increased by 10000 points and a kill/death ratio of no less than 50:1. ALL WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING THE GAME!!!

LET PLAYBOT play BF2 FOR YOU while you eat shit watching an episode of Smallville!

I was seriously curious whether there would be an upgrade to the punkbuster.

DHOAR4 to you I apologies for the ignorant response some people made to your questions.

to answer it in plain terms it simple.

An aimbot is a small program (cheat/hack) that can be downloaded and used with your game to help you aim at a target automatically. It enables you to get a kill everyshot. As well it allows you to see the enemy approach, as you can see through walls, buildings, trees and even deep fog.

There is no possible encryption/anti-cheat routine that can't be broken. I say that as an absolute! Any mathematical formula can be reverse engineered. We are taught that all through Algebra ie: Reorder this formula to solve for X. The only factor is how long it will take to finish the process. The same goes for computer games, which are completely based on math. It's inherent! So no matter what we do to stop botting/hacking it will always be there.

The beautiful thing is that these hacks are totally viral and word always gets out about how they work and why. Then it's up to the providers to fix the hack. Punkbuster clients auto-update and they provide downloadable updates freely for server admins so we hope they are catching this stuff. Until someone comes along and writes something better than Punkbuster the game makers will likely use it.

Personally, I find fake hackers a little pathetic. The script kiddies that up their stats on games just to "pwn teh noobs" can take a long walk off a short pier. The true inquisitive hackers, those that find and prove an exploit exists do a great service to the game, regardless of what the suits think. Only when they use it to their own gain does it cross the line. imho.

Problem is the majority of people playing this game have yet to have their bits drop and likely don't care.
