It's been brought to my attention that there are several sites that offer Hacks / Cheats for BF2. They all claim to be 100% punk buster proof. As an example here is a listed site http://www.msxsecurity.com/bf2.php
Needless to say I'm very disappointed and shocked that there are people out there that just can't accept losing thus feeling the need to "gain" an edge on others. While not all chose to participate in this BS those who do ruin the fun and actual skill level for the rest of us.

Your thoughts ?

It seams like people don't care any more with EA and particularly Dice with patch 1.3 almost killed the game, and it seams like they half hearted trays whit creating a fix patch 1.4b ... and where is it???? -Yes it is available as a TEST patch not as a real fix so they just drags there feat until the new BF is realist....

not exactly hard to find hacks for bf2, wether ppl are pathetic enough to use them or not is another matter. and the link changes so you cant solicit hacks on these forums (I think it auto filters known URLs for hack sites)

EA is a shitty company, its as simple as that. I was a true follower of theirs, buying every baseball game they put out from '97 to '06, but I'll never do it again. For one, there's ALWAYS horrible glitches. In MVP 05, lefties couldn't hit homeruns, simple as that. If you wanted to, you'd have to pump up all the power/contact ratings to +50 and then you might be able to hit a line drive to right field, if you pulled it just enough. In '06.... don't get me started on that bug fest.

LOL if I was EA I would host a site that had these hacks. Then lay in some nasty code to fry machines. Put in the agreement that any hack programs will destroy your puter. Then keep changing the site around every few weeks to keep the bastards guessing.

A lot of the people who hack completely suck at the game anyways. There is some guy who I know for sure hacks because his stats suck, his strategy sucks, he has no real playing style, but he blasts off rapid fire SVD with no recoil and tries to do it through obstacles even though there is no way he even saw me yet. As long as he doesn't 180 and SVD blast me point blank, I sneak up and shock paddle his ass or i'll just go 200m and drop a bullet into his head with the M95.

Yeah, it's total bullshit that PB lets these people bypass it's "security" though.

and i really would like to see how PB 'agrees' to let people make and give hacks..

oh yeah, and once a hack goes public PB tryes to find common parts of the hack and hardware bans them after it updates..

A friend of mine downloaded such a hack. It worked once - BUT then his battlefield-account was locked up and he had to buy a new copy to get it back running.
The hack obviously included some trojan or something like it.

I had a good laugh at him for even trying that shit - every good programmer under us players should take one of those hacks - screw them up a bit and send them out to those idiots.

I really hate being dropped by the PKM with a single shot from a guy showing me his back a split second before I die. And that seems to happen so often on some servers - I REALLY COULD USE A BLACKLIST INSTEAD OF FAVORITES. Lets make the battlerecorder a must on ranked servers - and we all could fight in peace

Just like BHD (Black Hawk Down)....that game is hack soup too, but there its not just shitty players who hack. In the 1.3 version of the game about a year ago, someone started handing out hacks to a lot of the really good players. It was so gay because people who used to beat on you in game were now pretty much untouchable and they all claimed that it was just skill....but inevitably people started talking and soon we all knew who had given out hacks to who.....but it ruined the game and it will never fully recover cause now you have no-skill noobs coming into the game and getting hacks from some 12 yr old retard.

So far BF2 seems to be a lot better, I have yet to see anyone who I have no doubt is cheating....I've seen some fishy shit but nothing like what I've seen in BHD.
