If I am a sniper, can I pick up someone else's claymore? I thought that was functionality they were adding to one of these patches? If you know of a way to do this, what key do you hit? Can I only pick up my own teams or can I pick up any claymore? Same question if I am an engineer with mines? Used the search to no avail so sorry if this is a repeat....
No, they removed that feature from patch 1.3, but you can pick up mines and claymores with the engineer's wrench.
i thought you cudnt remove gaymores?
Because in some cases there is only one entrance. And if you can sneak up behind up whats the point you dotn even have to pick it up just leave it some noob will defuse it by blowing it up.Viper007Bond wrote:
Claymores are one sided, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to sneak up behind it.
Umm, teamwork?ShadowFoX wrote:

(The following message contains sarcasm so please understand it as a joke and don't send me a bunch of PM's saying I am a noob and then hack my IP ) Teamwork? No one likes teamwork. The whole point of BF2 is to be a lone ranger and attempt to get the highest amounts of points with your J-10.
Moved to Bf2 - Help!

I've heard that, I've just been to scared to try (with claymores at least), I like having all my limbs intact.Viper007Bond wrote:
Same here, I never realized they removed that.KtotheIMMY wrote:

i didnt know you could pickup claymores.
Engeneer wrench is a very versitle too, it picks up claymores and AT mines. Just make sure you're coming up on the right side of the claymore, or else you get a blast in the face. Apparently the only thing people thing engeneer is good for is tank whoring so they can fix themselves.
Can anybody confirm this, I think one time I crawled up to the WRONG side of the claymore (the side that goes boom) and it didn't go off, and I 'disarmed' it.

Thanks all for info!
can engineer pick up C4? anybody try it before?
No, I don't think so.5peedy wrote:

There was a short video showing features in 1.3 before it came out, and in it was a clip of a spec ops guy throwing down C$ and picking it up again, but I think they left it out because it was too buggy.
So I can't pick up a claymore (unless I wrench them from the right angle), can I blow them up with a grenade though? I have a feeling they booted this option when they got rid of the tank blowing up an AT mine.
C4,AT Mines, and Claymores are indestructable.
Engineers can Pick up AT Mines, and disable Claymores.
Nothing can be done with C4 once its been placed.
