BF2S Forums Driver Special Abillity points?

They are for teamwork points earned while in a vehicle: IE, healing someone next to your car or resupplying them.

how do you get one hmmmmmmmm....... you could SEARCH!

If you have a passenger and they heal someone as medic while you're driving them, that's a special ability point. The other threads you'll find by seartching will explain more in detail.

Why doesnt every single person on the website tell him?

The best way to get that is become halfway decent at flying a helicopter. Fly around with a gunner and let them just mow people down in that gunner seat, you don't even have to kill anybody. After you get the 13 driver assists, go out and kill people however you usually do. It's as easy as that. If you want it even easier, fly a helicopter until the gunner just gets one kill, then if you die hop in the gunner seat of a tank and just crouch, youll get a ton of driver kill assists. Then you just need the 5 kills. Or instead of crouching you could shoot at people at the same time, the driver will get the majority of the kills but you can get the ribbon quicker that way.

Last time i checked Tanks dont fly..

IAR: 13 Driver Kill Assists
IAR: 5 kills

I haven't got this ribbon yet, but do you actually have to get these IAR reqs while flying to get it? From posts in other threads I didn't think you did.

Yes, that's the language from DICE/EA, but these IAR requirements can be obtained in armor.

(Might want to hear from someone who actually got it in armor ... I got mine in a chopper).

I got mine in armour.

Karkand, USMC, Support, on the pintle-mounted fifty.

The driver knew all the nooks and crannies of the city and we supported assault of flags while weeding enemies out of tight spots. I saw my job as primarily protecting the tank from AT Gunners and Spec Ops.


I was having a blast and didn't think I was doing that well until I got my Basic Support Badge...

...then a friendly ran-up to the tank and I heard the "chink-chink-chink" of me reloading them and I got notified I'd been awarded a piece of used toilet paper with a haemorroid cushion on it!
