Quick question: Does anyone know how you get these. I seem to get them at the dumbest times like I clip my tank on a building and have to back up..... Driver Ability Assist!

Or just leveling a heli out.....Driver Ability Assist!

What the heck is it???

They're for being in a vehicle with someone who gets a heal point or a repair point or something like that.

I'm reasonably certain that I've actually gotten points for being in a car with a medic who healed me, which is kinda cool. I get points for being healed. Woo.

BF2s WIKI: Driver special ability = 1 point. Note: You receive these points while driving or piloting and someone that is in the vehicle with you receives team points.

You get when you are Support, Medic or Engineer, and driving/flying a vehicle.
If a Engineer, Medic or Support guy in your vehicle gets a repair, heal or ammo point, you get a Driver Ability Assist.
