There is no 1.31 patch, only 1.4 beta, and 99% of people complaining about crashing were fine before 1.3, the problem is the patch, and even EA is admitting it.

What the hell, what admin thought this was worth something? It's a list of supported video cards off Ea's site and some bad information.

Add Radeon X550-GE to the list

Works fine for me w. 256 RAM, most medium, some low, view distance 100%

Yes.

System requirements have nothing to do with BF2 crashing. If your system did not meet the requirements, then it simply would not play. It crashes because DICE doesn't know what "testing" means.

hey vic...
dont you think that a majority already knew most of this, and 1.3 is 99.9% of all players crashing problem.the other 0.1% may be pc related and pretty sure everyone checks the requirements to run the game.I know I meet and exceed all requirements for operating this game and have only experienced crashing after patching with the 1.3.I understand if you were bored and felt like posting a topic regarding the ctd issue, but there are 100's of topics about this ctd issue...

One thing I don't think I see in there but I personally think (and knows) is the SPEED of your ram.   Anything less than 266 is going to give you shit fits.

Some people still have this problem in 1.4, it's probably just the patch. It could possibly help to repatch with the full 1.4 patch, but it won't neccessarily help anything.
