Why am I crashing when I get into a game.

Okay, every single time I get into a Battlefield 2 game, it goes to a black screen and crashes.

This is NOT the black screen on startup bug, I can get into the menu just fine, I load up maps just fine (slowly...very slowly but fine) but when I actually connect to the map, I see the map for a second or two, and then I get a black screen and it crashes. EVERY Time. Help, I guess.

if u click the connect button, u should try pressing esc instead of clicking on connect or if u press esc every time try to click on connect... works for me

Try to clean your cache (in my document/battlefield2/....). After that, the first you will load a map will take longer, but it should help.

Yup, once you start your first map, BF2 will regenerate the content.
