BF2S Forums BF2 "Oh Shit" Moments

Many times a grenade has been thrown right next to me at the Market underneath one of those little cart thingy's on Karkand. I can never get out of the way in time so I just stare at the grenade until it explodes and I die.

If you could turn up that yellow text one shade brighter it'll be indelibly burned onto my retina's so I can read it on my eylids as I drift off to sleep tonight and ponder the answer to your question.

i like when you see those bombs from the planes that look like jacks.

When you bail out of a Black Hawk 300m above the mosque on Mashtuur City, realizing that you changed your parachute key and cant remember what it is....

When you're the last person left capping a flag, and hear the sound of a armor or helicopters coming to you. ftw1111111 x_x

Many many times my fatalistic "Oh Shit" moments have led me to stand dead still as something kills me. When a tank spots me with no cover in sight when I'm a Sniper for example I generally just stand still and wait for the inevidable. honestly it can be quite funny though waiting until they kill you as sometimes they take ages to hit you.

My worst moments are when I play Karkand and I'm MEC.  I spawn at the Hotel and no one is there to spawn rape me.  I'm so happy that people are starting to grow up, that I bounce out of there.  As soon as I turn the corner, there's a tank and four other soldiers milliseconds away from pinning me up against the wall.  At this point, I take my hands off the keyboard and mouse and let them do with me as they wish...lol...Ah, good old spawn rapers

-Hearing the whistle of artillery comming down.
-Seeing an ERYX/SRAW comming straight for your face when your proned.
-Seeing the line of bombs comming straight for you (I always seem to try and get out of my tank and run it...so far I've been unsuccessfull -_-)
-Seeing a grenade land right infront of you when your proned.

When your in a tank and you can see the TV missile coming from a mile away and know it's futile to attempt to run.  BUBBLE HEARTH!!!!

This isn't really an 'OH SHIT' moment to me but i will put C4 on tanks, run away, type 'goodbye' to all, wait a sec then detonate.  A lot of people seem to hate that.

when you turn around a corner and theres either A.  A tank staring right at you
                                                                       B.  like 6 fucking guys running around
                                                                       C.  A claymore
                                                                       D.  A couple of jeeps or vodniks with guys on the MG'S
Then theres those other moments when......
1.  The bomb of a jet comes so close to your face you can see the fine details of it
2.  You dont have sound on and you turn around to see a jeep hauling ass towards you and eventually make tomato soup on his winshield.
3.  Your flying an F-35 on wake and you get a missile lock on you and you check your rear to see 2 j10 missiles hauling ass up your six.  Although, im actually not like most noob 35 pilots, ill bail out.  No free kill for the j10.
4.  Your in the middle of a wide open area with no cover and you see a helicopter coming towards you.
5.  Your in a tank and you cycle C to check your sides and rear and you see swarms of little spec ops dudes running around like gnats at your tank throwing their C4 everywhere
6.  When you get in the perfect spot near a claymore so that the only way you'll survive is to stay still (these moments are so funny as you try to kill people while not trying to get your ass fried into a fine cut of meat from the clay)
7.  Your in a helo on wake and you encounter a j10 pilot who takes more then 6 passes to kill you, which usually always signifies he will ram you eventually.
8.  You turn the corner with a pistol and you see a guy with a fully locked and loaded dao-12
9.  You steal an enemy jet only to see a guy with an sraw/eryx standing 10 feet away.
Heres one that other players encounter all the time on 24/7 wake servers: They see eagles coming towards them in a fully loaded z10 or ah-1z.

i was revived by a fellow team mate, only to see a grenade right at my face....i didnt bother trying to run...

also i was commander and i was hiding in this house, while i was waiting for everything to be available again i closed the screen this and saw an ememy claymore...im like "oh shit", i start crawling backwards...but it exploded and i died...
