I voted for it. The way I see it discrimination against homosexuals is no different than discrimination against any race or religion. 100 years from now I have a feeling people will look back at those who are anti-gay and be disgusted, discrimination does nothing for the betterment of humanity.

If gay marriage is made legal, then I want polygamy. I really dont understand what the difference in the arguments is. If two ppl are in love, then no matter what they are they should be able to marry, right? So if three/four/five ppl are in love, whats the difference? And on the matter of incest, its illegal because of genetic concerns, but if gay ppl are allowed to marry because theres no genetic interaction, then what about gay cousins. IMO there's way too much grey area to make it fully legal because of the descrimination of the ppls I just mentioned simply because they haven't been accepted by the current social conventions. I think unions should be legal between any number of any type of people, so they can have access to loved ones in hospitals and whatnot. I do think tax breaks should be reserved for married heterosexual couples/groups only because they contribute to the healthy procreation of the society.
